2025 Annual Report
The ECLT Foundation’s 2025 Annual Report highlights progress in strengthening the systems, partnerships and community-based initiatives needed to prevent child labour in agriculture. Across six countries in Africa and Asia, ECLT worked with governments, businesses and communities to advance policy reform, improve livelihoods, support education and strengthen child labour prevention efforts.

Tobacco Working Group on Child Labour 2025 Annual Report
The 2025 Annual Report highlights ECLT and TIMB’s continued collaboration to strengthen child labour prevention and sustainability efforts across Zimbabwe’s tobacco sector. It showcases progress in ALP monitoring, centralized sustainability reporting, industry-wide training, ESG awareness, and national policy development—while advancing stronger monitoring systems, multi-stakeholder coordination, and targeted child labour remediation initiatives, including the Mt. Darwin pilot project.
ALP Code Tanzania
This Agriculture Labour Code (ALC) reflects the Government of Tanzania’s commitment to eradicating child labour and promoting decent work across the agricultural sector. Developed collaboratively by the Ministry of Agriculture, crop boards, and key stakeholders with support from the ECLT Foundation, the ALC sets out minimum standards and measurable principles to protect children, uphold workers’ rights, and ensure safe and fair working conditions.
Tobacco Working Group on Child Labour 2024 Annual Report
The 2024 Annual Report showcases ECLT and TIMB's joint efforts to eliminate child labour in Zimbabwe’s tobacco sector. It highlights advances in community awareness, grievance mechanisms, ALP monitoring, and the development of a pilot project in Mt. Darwin—laying the groundwork for a more ethical and sustainable industry.
